SACO makes it into Sunday Times top 100 small employers list
SACO is the best small travel company to work for in the UK, according to an annual national survey of employers carried out by The Sunday Times.
The company, which came in at number 57 in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For supplement, scored higher than any other accommodation provider in their category.
It was commended for its working environment with 85.3 per cent of its employees reporting an absence of stress in the workplace.
Lesley Freed, SACO chief executive, said: “As we grow as a business, so do the development needs of our employees. Getting the right training to attract and retain people is vital to our success.
“We like to have some fun along the way – members of the Bath team are dying their hair red for Comic Relief and we are paying for members of our Bristol team to run a 10k run for the Afrikids charity.
“This is the definitive guide to workplace excellence among small businesses and we are thrilled to have been recognised nationally with this coveted accolade.”
The top 100 companies’ league table is drawn up in response to surveys of more than 200,000 employees from businesses across the UK covering topics such as well being and personal growth. It is the biggest survey of workplace engagement in the country. The supplement was published on March 1, 2009.
